Zodiac - Strangely fascinating film, despite it being set in a world that basically lacks women and being 2,5 hours long.

Beowulf. Surprisingly a lot more gory than I thought I would be.

1408. The ending was ten minutes longer than it should have been, but the rest of the movie was quite good.

LK : well, I have mixed feelings about it, really. It's quind of a mix between Narnia and Harry Potter with a hint of Lord of The Ring too. Though the
story is a lot more complicated...a little too complicated if you ask me.
I think it's supposed to be a trilogy and so when you end the first movie you feel like you didn't understand most of the story. There are too
many things not explained at all during the first movie and it's really hard to follow everything that's happening. Although I have to admit that the
special effects are really good and since I'm really fond of magic, fairies and witches I still enjoyed it. I just hope that the second movie will
enlighten me about the story itself.

It'll be a long wait... the second movie hasn't even been green-lit yet, they're waiting to see how the first one will do. Read the books!

The Rising or (The Ballad of Mangal Pandey). Visually sumptuous, and it may well be historically correct, but at times it borders on comic opera. I've never seen such a bunch of ill-fitting British officers' uniforms. Beautiful music by A.R.Rahman. |

Eddie Izzard's Definite Article. Not a movie as such, but a brilliant piece of stand-up comedy with mimes. If you haven't watched, or heard any of his
stuff you really are missing out. Eddie Izzard could quite possibly be the funniest man alive.
