I saw this thing on youtube, about some people who had chatted 24 hours for charity. I don't want to be a part of some charity, but I'd love to have the experience of staying 24 hours online chatting away, in my bag of life experiences. It's silly and a little bit stupid, but it seems like a fun thing to have done.
And I'm a student, I have enough spare time to actually be able to do this without work or studies suffering too much. My plan is to spend 24 hours in front of my computer in what then hopefully is the new permanent XOC chatroom, and live to tell about it.
Anyone interested in joining me on this little adventure? Or at least entertaining me so I won't have to be in chat all alone for 24 hours.
I've been planning on doing it sometime during Christmas because no lectures for me at all. Preliminary dates are late on the 28 to the 29th. Or possibly 4th of Jan to 5th, depending on what's going on at the time. If you've got a better suggestion as to when it should take place, let me know, I'm eager to get someone else on-board on this insane little nonsense project.

Sleep is a necessity to my health. As funny as that is to say right now since it's almost three in the
morning here. But really, it is very important that I don't encourage myself in bad habits. However, I'd be happy to come in at a certain time and keep
you entertained. How about the people that can't sign up to be there all day sign up to be there at a certain time if they can? More than one person could
sign up for a certain time slot (which would have to be done according to the same time zone of course
). But that way people can see the times that there's no one signed up for
and fill in the spots. Maybe then, we could make sure that there is always someone coming in there. Should you have other people (like the wonderful Xenasgrrl)
that sign up to do the entire 24 hours with you, you guys would be sure to get some fresh company on a regular basis. That could help keep you going through
the whole thing. Just a suggestion?

But it IS back-to-school time at work during that period, so it's quite possible I'll be called in
to fit kiddies with uniforms everyday...
