after a timeout has been called, following the Rules of Engagement all fighting on that thread has to stop until the War Council has reached a decision. This is what all game players have agreed upon and it has worked just fine in the past. By locking this thread you circumvent and undermine the authority of the War Council. Never before has a thread been locked after a timeout unless the game players ignored the rules. But now that we have additional rules which would punish any such behavior locking a thread is even less necessary. Why would you lock it, what's the message this should send?
