Yuku free message boards

i believe they're getting set to start the migration process again. Let's hope it works.

One, we'd lose all of our posts (ie, no access to the archives) if we move to another service.

Two, I've yet to find a forum that one, doesn't cost an arm and leg to operate and two, is use friendly. I've tried every free and reasonably priced service. None of them offer the freedom that eZboard does and their ratings in terms of usability and features doesn't rank with eZboard/Yuku. I mean, I can put my google ads on Yuku to generate funds for both the board and the website. I don't have that freedom with other services.

Three, they're already forcing boards over to Yuku. While some boards will remain on eZboard, their software will change (and that's another year or two in the making) and it'll be clone of Yuku. But at some point, the majority of boards will move over to Yuku. Of course, they'll give board owners the option of waiting.

Four, there a lot of administrative features that will help us make the XOC a more fluid place. Some of the things you'll see right way (like the ASG board) other things will come in time.

We had a vote. People wanted to move when they saw what Yuku offered in terms of features.
