Where you are a fan of the show and LL in it is just a bonus, or LL in it has taken the liking of the show to a whole new level for you?

I didn't watch it (being a huge fan of the old one, I was pretty skeptical about the reimagined version), but when I heard LL was going to be on it ---
... well a website and a messageboard later ... I guess you could say I'm fan of it now. |

The complete opposite for me. I watched and liked the M-S, and wanted to see the Series, S1 so far, S2 soon.
Hearing LL was going to be in it, I am naturally curious to see her in something different than her own prev. series. So I hope I like the 2 eps of hers in S2, with her also returning in S3 for 10 eps. And yeah a w/s and mb later I would say your a fan of BSG |

I was a fan from the git go. Watched the original one and tuned into the mini-series just to see if it would be as good and learned IT'S BETTER! So Lucy was just the icing on the cake for me, but VERY good icing *grin* ![]() |

Hi FX,
While LL isn't my initial reasons for wanting to watch it, definitely want to see her eps in each of the Seasons. That's great about S2 for you, my situation is that it is being screened here starting this coming week, and the dvd is due out Aug. 16th, the complete Season of the show. So late Aug. S2 discussions sounds good |

Yeah that is a little behind, but at least they are going to screen the show, which is the main thing.
I was a little surprised when I heard they were going to screen S2 here (australia) it has been a fair while since they showed S1. |

Well, Lucy being on the show has gotten me interested in the show first of all so She has taken it to a higher level for me. The other characters and episodes she isn't in are great too!!!

I liked a couple of episodes but having LL in the show promted me to get really into and and catch up with what happened in the 1st season. But I will say that even is LL wasn't on the show it is a fine show that is completely engaging.
But LL is defintely icing on the cake! ---------------

I really wanted to like the show when season one started because it came on after Stargate SG1, a show that I had caught up to as well after seeing the first show on SciFi because I was too lazy to turn the channel after a Hercules episode. But BSG did nothing for me. I really didn't know what was going on and it felt really claustraphobic to me. I watched the ep Lucy was on and did some more research. That's when I learned that episode one of season one wasn't the beginning so I rented the mini-series. That's when I really got interested in the show and went out and bought season one to catch up to season two. I rented the 1st half of season two to watch the eps in order and now I'm taping the shows at 2:00am on SciFi to catch up to the season 3 episode. And if the Cox network comes back up, I'll probably check out the webisodes as well. Adding Lucy to mix makes it must see tv this year. Frankly, I love the cylons, at least the ladies.
Take care Candideyes I am a cat you know. |

I admit that Lucy Lawless being on the show is what drew me to watching it. But, now I an so totally hooked that I've ordered the minseries & season 1 & 2. This is a wonderfully acted show & is the best thing on tv. And I love the Cylons..well at least the female cylons led by D'Anna Biers #3.

I began watching BSG because of Lucy. I saw her episodes in season2 and I had no idea what the heck they were talking about. So when I got the news that Lucy was gonna be in most of the eps in s3 I decided to watch BSG from the beginning. So I went through the mini-series and the two seasons. Now I love it and I would have watched it even if Lucy wasn't in it. I seem to have a thing for Anders (he's cute) and well I just love Number Six, Caprica Six too, Starbuck and Roslin. I seem to like only girls on this show. Oh well, I do like both Adamas (Ed J Olmos is a great actor). Though I do't like Lee that much now.
